Countesthorpe Rim Latch c/w Emergency Release. The emergency release is especially useful in toilets and bathrooms. Optional Emergency Release for bathrooms and cloakrooms allowing entry via a coin or screwdriver. The size of your door knob 'rose' should be considered to allow the release escutcheon to locate on the external side. Shown here in our Black Nickel plated finish. This offers a polished appearance with deep shadows, quite tricky to photograph! Due to the limited space between the emergency release & knob backset we recommend using rim knobs with a rose diameter of up to 43mm, a selection of suitable knobs are shown below.
