The Countesthorpe Rim Latch with Privacy Snib and Emergency Release. Made from cast iron with an authentic look especially with the brass detailing. Optional Emergency Release for bathrooms and cloakrooms allowing entry via a coin or screwdriver. The size of your door knob 'rose' should be considered to allow the release escutcheon to locate on the external side. Due to the limited space between the emergency release & knob backset we recommend using rim knobs with a rose diameter of up to 43mm, a selection of suitable knobs are shown below.
