Heritage auto lock to be used on replacement period doors and prestige new built doors. The euro profile locking cylinder of AV2 Heritage is located at a similar height to a transitional round cylinder pull but provides an instant higher security as the lock is operated automatically as soon as the door is closed. This means that an external lever handle is not required to operate the locking points and the lock can be deadlocked or opened externally by turning the key a quarter of a turn. From the inside the door can be opened by an internal thumbturn. The door is automatically locked when closed from the inside and the key is required to gain entry form the outside. Automatic locking on closing the door with 2 solid anti pushback hooks which fully penetrate the steel keeps helping to prevent forcing a part of the door and frame.
