Description The L380 is a direct replacement IS38 turbo found on VAG Platform. We can supply these as either a core, Supercore or Complete unit. The core option, allows a direct replacement of the original IS38 core in the turbo. These cores come with our upgraded bearing packs, which are common across all our IS38 turbo range. Larger thrust bearings and thrust washers ensures the turbo can with stand hardest of setups. These cores are finely balanced, way above OE standards, to ensure reliability, low noise and quicker spool. These cores come with the larger 45mm compressor wheels so some modifications may be needed to the compressor cover depending on the spec you have. The Supercore option, is the same as the core option but comes pre-assembled to a new compressor cover, specifically clearanced and ready to fit. The Complete unit is the same as the core option but with a turbine housing, including inconel wastegate , compressor cover and actuator.
