Powering GIERS is Raven™, Corvus’ Identity Management Capture Software, which provides full-function ID and export capability through an intuitive, user-friendly interface that supports a full range of biometric modalities. Multiple Components Stored in a Compact and Durable Case The GIERS kit supplies a comprehensive list of biometric enrollment and verification components stored neatly and conveniently in a rugged case designed for durability and portability. The kit includes a notebook computer, Raven™ application software, the VistaEY2 Camera, Greenbit Livescan Fingerprint Scanner, a Signature Pad, ID Document Scanner, a Barcode Reader, and 8 Port Powered USB Hub. The case’s interior is compartmentalized, providing neat and secure storage for all of these devices. The Pelican Case is built with a strong plastic material to withstand high impact, keeping every component safe from damage. High Quality Dual-Iris Scanner & Face Camera The GIERS identity enrollment solution comes with the VistaEY2, combination dual-iris scanner and face camera capable of simultaneous iris acquisition. Multi-positional iris illumination, ISO/IEC 19794-5/6 compliant images, and Live Eye anti-Spoof detection software make the VistaEY2 ideal for enrolling and authenticating subjects in high security applications. The iris camera features intelligent distance sensing technology, multi wavelength infra-red illumination, and multiple operational feedback features to increase acquisition speed and enhance image quality. Government Certified Livescan Fingerprint Scanner Included with the GIERS identity enrollment station is the DactyScan84c from Greenbit. This device is an FBI APP. F certified 10-print Live Scan fingerprint scanner, suitable for large government programs in need of 10 fingerprints captured via 4-slap and rolled acquisition, according to FBI IAFIS-IQS format requirements. These requirements permit the fingerprint data to be used for federal background checks in the U.S. The device also meets ANSI/NIST-ITL 2000 & 2007 requirements. The DactyScan84c is also the fastest 10-print Live Scan in the market. The device captures up to 25 frames per second for 4 finger slap acquisition and up to 27 frames per second for rolled prints acquisition.
