Made from solid oak by one of our skilled craftsmen, this hand-made pattress suits our very rare rectangular bell pull No. Y1011 (Product code number: DFBP0018). By using this pattress, not only does it enhance the appearance, it reduces the amount of brickwork that needs to be cut away for the rear of the bell pull. We have drilled the pilot holes to fix the bell pull to the pattress and the two holes to fix the pattress to the brickwork. The finish is a natural oak which can either be left unfinished to form a silvery look (as oak goes over time) or it can be oiled, stained, varnished or painted.
