A pair of unusual wooden door knobs; being square, they offer a good grip to aid rotation so they are ideal if your hands are weak or arthritic. The hardwood is in an ebonized finish and we also normally stock and natural wood version as well. The solid brass backplates (roses) have been antiqued and thenpartly polished back to give a characterful look. We call it our "Renovated" finish. The finish is unlacquered so it can be regularly polished or just left to mellow further - the choice is yours. Supplied complete with brass fixing screws and the Allen key to secure the knobs to the square spindle. These attractive door knobs will suit both mortice locks (and latches) as well as Rim Locks (and latches). For the Rim Locks, simply discard one of the roses. As with all door knobs, a deep mortice latch is required; ideally 4" or over. This keeps your knuckles well clear of the door frame as you enter the room or when you pull the door closed behind you as you exit the room.
