A 1920's period-style doorbell made from a similar material to Bakelite called: "Duraplast". This unusual door bell is not made in the Far East but in Germany and if their cars are anything to go by, then there is no doubt about the high quality of this attractive doorbell. The bell dome is made from steel and finished in Nickel. This type of bell requires an 8 to 12volt transformer. You connect the transformer to the bell with plain and simple "Twin Bell Wire" and this is also used to connect the bell to the bell push at the front door. It is rated at 84db.
